Vital Systems has been delivering Lead-Free assemblies from prototype builds through to large production runs since August 2004.

We recognized the future Lead-Free market needs and have planned ahead, developing and implementing company wide Lead-Free processes.

In surface mounted technology we have invested in capital equipment manufactured by leading OEMs for Lead-Free manufacturing. All SMT ovens are capable of reflowing Lead-Free solders, and meeting the tight temperature tolerances.

All hand soldering equipment meets Lead-Free soldering requirements. Operators are trained in Lead-Free soldering techniques, and are building Lead-Free products.

Vital Systems has developed and implemented new technologies to handle builds of the same assembly with Lead and Lead-Free solders on the floor at the same time.
